HIT SERIES COWGIRLS RETURNING TO RIDE TV FOR A THIRD SEASON

Network to Begin Filming Season 3 of the Breakout Hit in Historic Fort Worth Stockyards

FORT WORTH, TX, April 2, 2019 – RIDE TV is excited to announce the highly anticipated renewal of the hit series Cowgirls for its third season. Cowgirls is a docu-reality series which follows five women from across the nation as they compete in the Ranch Bronc Riding event during weekly rodeos in Fort Worth, TX. RIDE TV will begin filming Season 3 this Friday, April 5th in the Fort Worth Historic Stockyards at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo.

“Cowgirls has really been our breakout hit at RIDE TV,” said Craig Morris, President of RIDE TV. “We knew that these women were tough as nails and that this would be a special show, but we couldn’t have anticipated all of the positive response we received, and we are excited to bring this show back to RIDE TV fans.”

In the past, the women of Cowgirls have competed in regional rodeos across the state of Texas. For season three, RIDE TV is shaking up the format and giving it a local twist. The women will compete each week in Fort Worth, TX at the Cowtown Coliseum as a part of the weekly Stockyards Championship Rodeo. The Cowtown Coliseum is unique, as it served as home to the world’s first indoor rodeo – a movement which drastically increased the opportunity for spectatorship and growth in the rodeo industry. In 2019, the Cowtown Coliseum is celebrating 100 years of indoor rodeo. You can purchase tickets to the Stockyards Championship Rodeo at www.stockyardsrodeo.com.

“It’s very special to be a part of the 100-year celebration going on at the Cowtown Coliseum,” said Nathan Fletcher,” Senior Vice President of Content Development for RIDE TV. “I think this is the perfect special addition to the rodeo, and we think it’s really cool that we get to film this momentous season in our own backyard in Fort Worth [,Texas].”

Viewers can anticipate some familiar cast members in season three such as Duke Largo Wimberley, Brittany Miller, Rainey Gibbs, Sarah Brown and Jane Revercomb, as well as some new faces who will be introduced throughout the season.

“This will be our most exciting season yet, because the rough stock and the competitors at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo make for some extremely stiff competition,” said Hilary Kitzman, Supervising Producer of Cowgirls.

The show is scheduled to premiere in October 2019, at which time RIDE TV will roll out the first six episodes of season 3. Cowgirls will be available exclusively on RIDE TV. To see where you can watch RIDE TV near you, visit www.RIDETV.com/Watch
